On the road to Narra…bri

Following a brief visit to Brisbane for diner and breakfast with some dear friends, we headed back inland for a scenic trip to Narrabri. On the way we encountered Australia’s (and I assume the world’s) first windmill for pumping water from the artesian basin. The road from Toowoomba to Narrabri is very picturesque. Long plains, old towns and a wonderful rural feel.

While in Y’Olde Narrabri we met up with Krust’s Nan for a cup of tea and some tasty banana muffins.

Hello travel-bloggers! Isn’t it amazing what a statcounter can turn up? (Thanks for the link. :-) )

I have just set up a google reader account and look forward to being alerted of your travels. Michael and I miss your dinner company already.
